The Cranleigh School Swim Academy is based at Cranleigh School’s indoor 25-metre pool and runs on Saturday mornings during term time.
There are classes to suit all abilities, from Armbands to Competitive Development Coaching. Following the ASA national plan, our class sizes are kept to a maximum of 6 children in a lesson, with early stages being taught with a teacher in the water. Lessons are 25 minutes and depending on the swimmer’s ability will be between 8.30am – 12.00pm on Saturday mornings. All swimming instructors are qualified with the ASA or STA (or both).
Sessions are held throughout each term and new swimmers are invited to book a trial lesson.
Claudia Clements is our very own Head of Aquatics at Cranleigh School. After a successful international swimming career competing for both England and Great Britain, she turned her attention to coaching. As a Level 3 coach, Claudia has worked within some of the top schools and clubs in the country and has gone on to coach on British Junior Teams and head up Swim England National Age Group Programmes.
