Cranleigh School offers children the opportunity to participate in various Academies.  These are open to the general public and further information can be obtained by clicking on the tabs above.

This summer Cranleigh School Activities are hosting swimming clinics and workshops. Offering specialist stroke and skills sessions for both club and school level swimmers aged 7-14 years, there is something to suit any aspiring swimmer.

Lead by both Claudia Clements and Steve Wadey, our coaches have a combined 45+ years of experience in performance swimming.

Cricket Academy

Stuart Welch, Cranleigh School’s Director of Cricket, runs coaching courses during the Easter, Summer and Christmas breaks open to children from 8-13 years old from any school. Each course is tailored to its age group’s requirements and will cover all aspects of the game, including batting, bowling, fielding and wicket-keeping.

Claudia Clements, Cranleigh School’s Head of Aquatics, opens up the pool every Saturday morning to teach the Swim Academy to school children of all ages. Whether your child is a beginner or a confident swimmer, she welcomes children of all abilities.

Following the ASA national plan, our class sizes are kept to a maximum of 6 children in a lesson. Lessons are 25 minutes and depending on the swimmer’s ability will be between 8.30am – 12.00pm on Saturday mornings.

If you would like to sign your child up, we start by offering a trial lesson allowing us to assess their ability and ensuring they are assigned to the appropriate class.
