Stuart Welch, Cranleigh School’s Director of Cricket, runs coaching courses during the Easter, Summer and Christmas breaks open to children from 8-13 years old from any school. Each course is tailored to its age group’s requirements and will cover all aspects of the game, including batting, bowling, fielding and wicket-keeping.
Mr Stuart Welch has coached at Lords with the MCC, as well as producing many professional & international players such as Ollie Pope, Stuart Meaker, Michael Burgess, Seren Waters & most recently Tom Lawes.
Lent 1-to-1s 2024
We are pleased to announce that Mr Stuart Welch will be offering 1-to-1 sessions during Lent term 2024.

Please note, sessions will be offered at 2pm and 3pm on these dates. Sessions are 60 minutes long and cost £60 per session.

Courses
In good weather the courses take place at Cranleigh’s six outdoor nets; in wet weather, the indoor facilities at the Trevor Abbott Sports Centre or the Indoor Cricket School are used.

Courses will consist of 2 hours 30 minutes coaching per day.
Courses for 7-10 year olds will take place from 10:00-12:30, and courses for 11-13 year olds will take place from 13:00-15:30 each day.
This course will take place in Cranleigh School’s Trevor Abbott Sports Centre and the Indoor Cricket Bubble here at Cranleigh School.

Course Costs:.
Courses cost £55 per 2 days (5 hours coaching) per child and £110 for 4 days (10 hours coaching) per child.
