Little Chef Cookery Workshops (Ages 9–14)

Whether your child is a budding young chef or brand new to the kitchen, our Little Chef Cookery Workshops offer a fun, hands-on cooking experience during the school holidays. Children will explore a variety of sweet and savoury dishes, gaining the confidence, creativity, and practical skills to make their own delicious creations at home.

Workshops can be booked for single days or for the full course — perfect for curious cooks who can’t get enough!

What to Expect

Guided by our experienced Food Technology teacher, Mrs Christine Steenekamp, children will learn key kitchen skills including:

·         Food preparation and cooking techniques

·         Kitchen hygiene and safety

·         How to follow recipes

Each day features a fun, themed menu from around the world — children will create and bring home a three course meal for two people.

Between cooking sessions, we take regular breaks and enjoy light-hearted activities such as colouring sheets and foodie quizzes. At the end of the day, every child will proudly take home their creations to share with family and friends.
